Stapleton on his way to CMA Award History!

Nov 14th is the night: the 52nd Annual Country Music Association Awards will bring the brightest stars of country to Nashvilles Bridgestone Arena. While Chris Stapleton leads the nominations, Carrie Underwood and Bad Paisley will host the most spectacular show with performances by Miranda Lambert, Garth Brooks and Kasey Musgraves to name a few.

Chris Stapleton might be the biggest winner of this years CMA Awards at Bridgestone Arena. Being nominated in five categories (Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and the prestigious Entertainer of the Year) the Broken-Halo-Singer is vying to hold onto his perfect streaks for Male Vocalist of the Year (three consecutive wins so far) and Album of the Year (each of his first two albums have won).

Jason Aldean and Keith Urban each earned three nominations, with both stars competing against Stapleton for Entertainer of the Year. Florida Georgia Line’s collaboration with Bebe Rexha, Meant to Be, also received three nods, as did Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Chris Janson, Midland, Thomas Rhett and Dan + Shay, who also got a fourth nomination for Song of the Year, which is awarded to the songwriters (Nicolle Galyon, Jordan Reynolds and Dan Smyers).

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will return as hosts of the show which will see performances by Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert,Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley with Brothers Osborne, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line with Bebe Rexha, Kacey Musgraves, Old Dominion, Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban, Luke Combs, Midland, Brett Young and Underwood herself.
